Using a Luxury Car Around Ibiza

Most journeys on the island take 20 to 30 minutes at most. Ibiza Airport is 7 km from town, Sant Antoni de Portmany is 14 km west and Santa Eulària des Riu is 15 km north-east. That makes the car useful for shuttling between villa, harbour and dinner, or for a half-day north along the PM-810 towards Sant Joan and Portinatx. Inland roads are mostly narrow and winding, and the PM-803 towards Cala d'Hort and Es Vedrà is best driven in morning or evening light, so plan your route around the road as well as the destination. Hire cars cannot go to Formentera. The car stays on Ibiza while you cross by ferry from Ibiza Town port.

June to September is the busiest period, with the airport especially congested in July and August, so early requests give you the widest choice. If you plan to visit Formentera, remember that the car cannot make the crossing.
