Using a Sports Car Around Ibiza

Most journeys on the island are short, usually 20 to 30 minutes at most, so a sports car works best for chosen outings rather than long mileage. Sant Antoni is 14 km west of Ibiza Town, which makes an early-evening drive along the PM-803 an easy plan. Cala d'Hort and the view of Es Vedrà are reached by a narrow road from Sant Josep that is best in morning or evening light. Inland roads are mostly narrow and winding, so allow for unhurried driving there. Arrivals are straightforward to plan around: Ibiza Airport is 7 km from town, and the Ibiza Town marina is in the centre, where a car can meet guests coming off a superyacht tender. In July and August, vehicles need to be placed at the airport in advance. One point to note for day trips is that rental cars stay on Ibiza and do not travel to Formentera, which is reached by ferry only.
